Vote Yes on Prop 100!

There’s only one way to protect Arizona’s students, our neighborhoods and the safety net we need. Vote YES ON 100. Arizona needs your help on May 18th!

A temporary revenue source is a must for our state because core government responsibilities, like public safety, must be funded adequately.  Otherwise, the state would be forced to deal with 2010 crimes, 2010 prison counts at 2004-era funding levels.  If Prop 100 fails, DPS is expecting another $10.9M cut from our 2011 budget and lay-off hundreds of officers and support staff.  Mesa will not receive state-shared revenue to support our city’s essential services, like police.  That will be another hit to our budget.  The residual effect will have serious long-term damages to the Arizona’s communities, neighborhoods, schools and other services.
